This letter to FOR activist (and ETC leader) Graciella Rossi came just after HR 8096 failed in the committee of which Rep. Burton was the second most senior member. It is a bittersweet note, as many feel Burton could have done more to keep the provisions for saving the Stanislaus in the bill.
