Harvey Milk was a San Francisco Supervisor and major lead in the gay rights movement there and nationally. Here, Mark Dubois is teaching how to row a raft on the Stanislaus River. In 1978, he and then-Mayor George Moscone were assassinated in office by a disgruntled political figure.
