Up a creek without a . . . oar?

Graciella Rossi of Environmental Traveling Companions (ETC) shows off her finely tuned guide coping skills as the pilots a Yampa raft with a single oar, and makes it all look easy.  The raft was named “Bloto” and, along with another one, was likely given to ETC by ARTA (by the late 1970s, Yampas weren’t widely used by outfitters).  Note the ancient life jacket, as ETC was a “make do” operation in taking underprivileged kids and other on rafting trips.
