1971 ARTA guides reunion, at Douglas Flat warehouse site

In 1971 a group of a dozen people trained with ARTA to be river guides for the coming spring/summer. Many of those in that group have stayed in touch over 50 years and they gathered in April 2021 to celebrate that history. This photo was taken in front of an old building in Douglas Flat that was the original ARTA Stanislaus warehouse (it’s an old bank and store built in 1851).
