Description:
Angels Camp became the major supply point for many rafting companies and lodging and food spot for many passengers on trips. OARS is still located in Angels. Angels Camp was made famous in Mark Twain’s “The Jumping Frog of Calaveras County”, and more infamously as the site of raucous motorcycle rallies in the 1970s.
