ARTA basket boat running a rapid

Basket boats were military rafts used in air-sea rescue (a tube arched over the cross thwart in the center and supported a tent-like cover for ocean survival). This one was painted with Gaco silver paint and a frame was tied in (note very securely, as baskets had few D-rings or other tie-downs). But fun was had regardless, as basket boats could be very lively in a rapid!
