Description:
Bryce was the first outfitter on the Stanislaus (Wilderness Waterways), mostly doing nonprofit Sierra Club type trips. He started with surplus 15-man basket boats and home-welded frames with tractor seats and thole pins. In 1963 he even began protests again New Melones Dam. (Need more info from Ty.)
