Don Briggs making phone calls

Don was constantly calling contacts in the news media during the Stanislaus campaigns, working every angle he could find to get local, regional and national news coverage. Without his efforts, FOR would have had far less success than it did in getting the issue of the Stanislaus presented to state and national audiences.  This photo is taken at Jerry Cadagan’s Crown Zellerback office, as they organized a press conference at the newly opened Fort Mason Center for Mark immediately after coming out of his speaking for the River ‘camping trip’.
