Gar Dubois' Treehouse on the Stanislaus River

Gary/Gar Dubois built a treehouse in the Stanislaus canyon, just below Lower Chinese Camp in the late 1970s, and lived there a couple four-year periods. Because everyone was focused on the ripple below Cop Rock, no one on river trips ever seemed to look back upstream to see the treehouse!
