From Jim, who guided for many, many years: This is a picture of my very first rafting trip on the Stanislaus River in June 1969, with River Adventures West. Me with the fishing pole, and my dad with the scotch and soda over ice. Of course I didn’t know then that I’d still be rafting 53 years later!
