Adventures on the Stanislaus – a 1980 account of two river trips

This very engaging, 60-page account of two 1980 river trips with OARS is by Frank R. Eckblom, a writer who lived near San Andreas and who published several books about the Mother Lode area. It includes lots of photos and much description of his river trips – a one day and an overnight trip. The book was funded by donations from outfitters, OARS, plus Whitewater Voyages and Wet N Wild.  Frank passed away in 2009, after serving as the publisher of the Valley Springs Daily News for over 20 years.
