Interpretive Guide of the American, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne Rivers (PDF)

ARTA guides Bob Center and Sarge Preston, and others, created this copier-printed booklet as the first interpretive guide to the Stanislaus, plus the Tuolumne and South Fork American – the primary rivers being run by ARTA and other commercial companies. It was supported by the Outfitters Association and was a boon to all guides who wanted to share more details about these amazing rivers with the people they took down. Material from the booklet was also incorporated into the 1981 FOR book, Guide to Three Rivers.
