Description:

Around 1972, ARTA guides started a tradition of having Seder celebration (“next year in Vallecito!”) to mark their river community. With hardly a break over almost 50 years, those guides, their kids and associated friends have gathered annually to share a Seder weekend, all stemming from the years on the Stanislaus, based at the ARTA house. The event has taken place all over California, and in the most recent decades has been at the American River, continuing every year.
