Guide Chris Condon in 1967

Chris Condon started guiding for Bryce Whitmore’s Wilderness Waterways company on the Stanislaus River in 1967. He continued on when Marty McDonnell took over the company and renamed it Sierra Mac River Trips and helped it pioneer Class V runs on the Cherry Creek/Upper Tuolumne, in addition to running the main Tuolumne and many, many other western rivers for years after.
