Stanislaus Campaign News article describing a Stanislaus River trip with U.S. Representatives Don Edwards and Pete Stark on July 17, 1980 – Edwards was the author of HR 4223, which would have designated the Stanislaus Wild & Scenic and Stark was a strong supporter. The trip involved many people, with gear from six rafting companies.
