Cadillac Charlie rapid at put-in

Most of the boats that launched from Camp 9 had to run Cadillac Charlie, a quick drop and a very tight left turn move when your arms were still warming up to your raft load – lots of boats hung up on the rock at the bottom of the drop, giving more than a few passengers a moment of pause about the skill of their guide. In fairness, four people and full gear was a lot to maneuver right off the shore!
