Camp Nine Powerhouse in 1908

Location: Clark's Flat
Status: Live River
By: Unknown
Date: 1908
Description:

Upstream of the powerhouse are some of the homes of the town of Stanislaus, near Camp Nine.  It took three men to run the plant and, working 8 hour shifts, 6 other men for the 24 hour operation.  Some chose to live there with their families, so the little community grew mostly on the Tuolumne County side of the Stanislaus River.
