Image from the Stanislaus trip on which Jerry Brown announced general support for saving the Stanislaus River (support for Proposition 17 came later). Jerry Meral, in yellow paddling jacket, educating the next governor at the Stanislaus River Camp Nine put in (Meral was later made Deputy Director of Water Resources in the Brown Administration).
