Description:
Dick Schwind was a pioneer kayaker and the author of the first major guide to kayaking West Coast rivers. This photo is from a 1968 trip, likely one that started at Camp Nine and continued all the way down to Melones/Robinson’s Ferry. Horseshoe Bend location is just a guess.
