Mark Dubois rowing oar boat in Bailey Falls, after river emerged from flooding in 2015

In 2015, the New Melones reservoir drew down to expose the river again above the South Fork. Mark, photographer Jay Power and others were on this trip and Jay captured this excellent photo from the bottom of Bailey Falls looking up to the big hole (compare to these images of Bailey before the flooding).  Other images from trips in August of 2015 are here.
