Parrott’s Ferry Bridge and take as they begin to be flooded in 1981

This view from the huge new bridge downstream of Parrott’s Ferry shows the flooding of the river extending up the the old bridge, with logjams on either side of the bridge. The flooding is just starting to make its way into the take out area, in the right of the photo.
