                    Description:

This view of Sierra Club Rapid shows all three runs through it – on the left, the higher water straight run, the middle through the bushes (partially hidden), and the main run on the right (river left), with the lower rocks clearly visible. The Sierra Mac basket boats (before the Huck Finns) are pretty heavily loaded, with 4-5 people plus gear stowed on the floors. Sierra Mac guides called the big rock in the foreground “ARTA rock” after an ARTA raft wrapped there and had to be left for some time, with it’s logo showing prominently, a painful image for the ARTA crews to have to see!
