Protesting federal Stanislaus River canyon clearcutting in February 1981

Two views of the early morning of February 2, 1981 when about 20 activists blocked the road to the clear cutting area to protest, as the clear cutting above Parrott’s Ferry was in direct violation of State orders. Kevin Wolf, Ty Childress and Dan Buckley were arrested (trial later, April 1981).
