Description:
The January 1980 flood on the Stanislaus resulted in flows of 30-40,000 CFS, and a few adventurous souls who put on in (non-self-bailing!) rafts to run it. This story by Roy Tennant (who has been instrumental in the creation of the Stanislaus Archive!), describes one such trip by a group of rafting guides (including Marty McDonnell, Mark Dubois, – others are also featured).
