The early announcement poster for Row for the River, the volunteer created and managed, eight day (Sept. 14-21), 175 mile paddle from Camp Nine to San Francisco Bay – all to generate support for Proposition 17, on the November 1974 ballot. If interested, you needed to send a letter to a PO Box in Stanford, California!
