Row for the River lands at Aquatic Park in San Francisco, Sept. 21, 1974

The landing of kayaks in the Row for the River event, a 200 mile, 8-day journey from the Stanislaus River, out through the Delta and into San Francisco. Over 500 people awaited the 100 or so paddlers, 20 of whom had done the whole trip.
