Presentation in February 1971 to the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors on the values of the Stanislaus River to the recreational and economic development of Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. David Kay as the Director of Public Affairs for the American River Touring Association (ARTA) and Jerry Meral (then representing the Sierra Club’s California Rivers Conservation Committee). The presentation goes into great detail on the financial and other contributions that the river makes when left in its free-flowing state, and the history of its use for rafting.
