Description:
These distinctive schist rocks were along the Stanislaus just at the Rose Creek confluence; the photo was taken on a Wilderness Waterways 1965 Stan trip. The Canyon from Camp 9 to just beyond Rose Creek was schist; limestone cliffs rose just down stream.
