Detailed view of Parrott’s Ferry Bridge, and – slightly hidden – Fred’s Rapid upstream of the bridge. Named for Fred Dennis, the rapid was a favorite learning feature for new kayakers, and the flat on river right beside it was where Fred (and others!) lived in a trailer.
