Chinese Dogleg Rapid is just barely visible in the center of this photo which captures the open character of the Stanislaus River just a mile or so above Parrott’s Ferry. Hiking trails and beach access is visible in the lower right of the photo, for people coming down from Parrott’s Ferry Road on foot or with four wheel drive vehicles.
